Application features

  • basic count

    It is the most basic mode of SmartRope. Jumping rope while connected to the app will automatically start counting at any time. The basic count shows the number of daily rope count, calories, time, and goal achievement.

  • interval training

    Alternate between exercise and relaxation. Interval training can burn a lot of calories in a short period of time, because the elevated heart rate is maintained even during the resting period. From the easy to advanced options, you can choose the intensity level that suits you and gradually level up.

  • leaderboard

    Check your daily / weekly / overall rankings among global community of SmartRope users. Compete against SmartRope users from around the world and get your positions up!

  • history

    Record your daily exercise and graph it. You can monitor your monthly / yearly graph and check whether you have achieved your daily goal. Make a habit of exercising by checking your records every day.

  • friends

    You can exercise with your friends while checking each other's exercise records. Exercising with your friends will strengthen your motivation and boost your energy even more.

  • competition

    Compete with friends with SmartRopes. Invite your friends to work out together! Through competition, you will light a fire in your fighting spirit.

    How do I connect to my smartphone via Bluetooth?

    A

    SmartRope connects to your smartphone via our proprietary app. Download and install and the SmartRope app.

    • You cannot connect to SmartRope in the Bluetooth setting of your smartphone. First, install the SmartRope app on the Apple App Store or Google Play. Follow the instructions in the Smartrope app and your SmartRope will automatically sync when you power on the SmartRope. Once setup, the SmartRope app automatically connects to the registered SmartRope. You can delete the existing SmartRope from the app's settings page or search for a new SmartRope.

    I own multiple SmartRopes. How do I sync to a specific SmartRope?

    A

    SmartRope app automatically connects to the nearest device.

    • In the app's settings menu, you can change the SmartRope that connects to the app automatically. Turn off all SmartRopes and turn on the SmartRope that you wish to connect to. When you run 'Connect New Device' in the app setting, it automatically connects to the powered-on device. If you want to manually select a device, you can select and connect to the desired SmartRope through Search for a New Device.

    Are double unders, triple unders and X jumps possible?

    Yes, they are all possible.

    • All techniques that can be done with conventional jumping rope are possible, and records are counted and stored normally.

    When does the status LED on the SmartRope PURE handle change color?

    • The operation of SmartRope PURE is controlled by the power button at the end of the handle.
      When you open the power button, the micro-USB port appears, and the status of each device is indicated according to the color of the button LED.

    Does Jump rope burn a lot of calories?

    A

    Jump rope is known to be a very efficient aerobic exercise.

    • Jump rope burns calories twice as fast as running, with less strain on your joints. However, after running hundreds or thousands of times, it is difficult to remember the exact count, and it is difficult to measure how your Jump rope is developing. It is difficult. Smart Rope Pure provides a more enjoyable and efficient exercise experience by adding innovation to Jump rope, which used to be boring and repetitive alone.

    How does SmartRope PURE accurately track jumps?

    Magnetic sensors are attached to the ball bearings in SmartRope PURE.

    • When the sensors detect a full 360 degree revolution of the rope around the handle, it’s tracked as 1 complete jump. The workout mechanics of jumping rope create the data, so it’s much more accurate than the generic motion sensors in a wrist tracker or in your smartphone.

    Do you need a smartphone to use SmartRope PURE?

    A

    SmartRope PURE tracks your workout data with or without your smartphone, but you’ll need to pair with the SmartRope mobile app to see your jump count and other relevant data.

    • SmartRope PURE features one-time sync, enabling you to do up to 100 sets of exercise and store your workout data in the rope’s memory without a smartphone. Later, when you sync with SmartRope, all of your past workout data will be made available on the app. (We definite 1 “set” as the workout data tracked while SmartRope PURE is powered on).

    Is the rope size adjustable?

    • Yes, the length of SmartRope PURE can be adjusted to your height and preferred jump stance. For more information, please check the user manual.

    The handles look slippery, will they be OK while I work out?

    A

    SmartRope PURE is ergonomically designed to provide the best grip for comfortable workouts.

    • The handles are sweat-resistant and slippage shouldn’t be an issue during intense workouts.

    Is SmartRope PURE compatible with Soft Grip?

    A

    No. SmartRope PURE is not compatible with Soft Grip.

    How do I charge SmartRope PURE? What about battery life?

    A

    SmartRope PURE is powered by a high-quality lithium polymer battery, charged via micro-USB cable (the same cable that charges most smartphones, as well as other portable devices).

    • Charge SmartRope PURE with your smartphone charger, or plug it into any powered USB port on your computer. SmartRope PURE’s battery lasts for approximately 45 hours of active use, or over a month and a half of regular use. SmartRope PURE fully charges in 2 hours over a standard smartphone charger or powered USB port.

    Where will you ship to, and what about international shipping costs?

    SmartRope PURE can be delivered to any country that isn’t restricted by US regulations.

    • International shipping will be dynamically priced based on actual costs from our shipping providers. Due to different regulations in each market, we cannot be held responsible for any customs or duties charges incurred in shipment.

    Warranty

    • SmartRope is produced with strict quality control and inspection of Tangram Factory. The warranty period for SmartRope is 90 days from the date of purchase. Exchanges and refunds are provided for defective products. In the event of an issue caused by the user, repair service may be provided for a fee, regardless of the warranty period. Products with expired warranty period may receive repaire service for a fee.

    Is the SmartRope app available in both Android and iOS?

    A

    Yes

    • Please search for 'Smartrope' in the Apple App Store or Google Play and install the app. Android is available in versions 6.0 (API Level 23 / Marshmallow) or higher, and iOS in versions 9.0 or higher.
    • If the smartrope app is not detected in the Apple App Store or Google Play, the device and app are incompatible.
    • In addition, the use of smartphones or iPod touches without some Bluetooth features may be restricted on some special Android devices.

    How do I connect my SmartRope to the smartphone?

    A

    SmartRope automatically connects to your smartphone when you 1) run the SmartRope app and 2) power on your SmartRope.

    • Power-on LED/PURE: Press the button on the left handle to turn on the power.
      Power on Rookie: Rotate the left handle and chek for a ring sound.

    • SmartRope can only sync to your smartphone via the SmartRope app.
    • If your SmartRope does not connect automatically, you can manual connect from the app's settings menu. (Normally, the SmartRope app automatically connects to the previously synced SmartRope.)
    • If you switch to a new SmartRope by automatically or manually establish connection in the App Settings menu.

    Can your SmartRope app simultaneously sync to multiple SmartRopes?

    A

    No

    • Two people cannot record exercise on the smartrope app at the same time. Each must log out and log in again to maintain user data.
    • Separately, the SmartRope TV app allows four users to connect and exercise at the same time.

    Does the SmartRope app connect to Apple Health or Google Fitness?

    A

    Yes

    • After logging into the SmartRope app, turn on the Apple Health or Google Fitness option. iPhone connects to Apple Health, and Android phones connected to Google Fitness. Compatibility to other fitness apps (Samsung Health, Under Armor, Xiaomi Miffit, Nike, etc.,) will be developed in the near future.
